Honda WR-V Achieves Highest ASEAN NCAP Safety Rating

January 2023 – Honda WR-V is awarded with
a 5-star safety rating ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program for Southeast
Asia). The result reflects the highest safety standard for Honda automobile in
South East Asia.
Honda WR-V achieved a 5-star rating with an overall score of 77.07 out of 100 (94.93/120 for total score), including a frontal offset impact test, side impact test, and evaluation of safety features. It received impressive scores of 27.41/32 for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), 42.79/51 for Child Occupant Protection (COP), and 16.37/21 for Safety Assist Technologies (SATs), and 8.36/16 for Motorcyclist Safety (MS).
Honda WR-V made its World Premiere debut on 2nd November 2022 in Indonesia. It is Honda's first model in the Small SUV segment in Indonesia, combining the distinctive character of Honda's SUV which has advanced performance and technology with a more compact design and more sporty style. Honda WR-V already started its delivery to the Indonesian customers in from 1st December 2022.
Honda WR-V is equipped with the highest ground clearance in its class with a height of 220 mm., the biggest power in in its class and advanced safety technology with Honda SENSING.
Honda SENSING is Honda’s advanced driving assisting system. The system uses the front wide view camera, inside part of the windshield to provide greater awareness of driving conditions around the vehicle by detecting cars, motorcycle, and pedestrians effectively. It provides warnings and supports the driver in avoiding or mitigating the severity of a collision.
Honda WR-V is also equipped with a wide range of advanced safety features* such as Honda LaneWatch, Multi-Angle Rear View Parking Camera, Remote Engine Start, Walk Away Auto Lock, Front Passenger and Rear Seat Belt Reminder, and Rear Seat Reminder.
